"TIN Coating" This is a general purpose coating for better tool life when machining; Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Inconel.   "TICN Coating" This is an excellent choice when machining die and mold steels.  This coating allows increased speeds and feeds over the TIN coating.   "TIALN Coating" This is the superior choice when dry milling.  High performance is also realized when machining hardened steels such as Titanium Alloys, Cast Iron, and Stainless Steels. Tools that need coatings are picked up three times a week at O-D Tool to expedite quick turnaround for our customers.
